Kia Named One of the ‘Best SUV Brands’

Kia America has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the “Best SUV Brands” for 2023. This prestigious annual list acknowledges manufacturers with outstanding overall scores in areas such as safety, features, predicted reliability ratings, fuel economy ratings, and driving impressions across their SUV lineups.

Steven Center, COO & EVP of Kia America, expressed the brand’s commitment to developing award-winning vehicles that cater to the diverse needs of today’s consumers. Kia’s 2023 SUV lineup has received multiple awards from the publication this year. The 2023 Kia Telluride, a flagship SUV exclusively designed for the U.S. market and manufactured in Kia’s West Point, Georgia facility, was named the “Best 3-Row SUV for Families” for the fourth consecutive year. Additionally, the 2023 Kia EV6 was recognized as the “Best Electric Vehicle for Families” for 2023.

The Telluride, with its captivating design and successful sales performance, has undergone enhancements inside and out for the 2023 model year. Notably, the Telluride X-Line and Telluride X-Pro trims showcase redesigned elements, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) technology has been expanded to provide greater peace of mind and driver confidence.

The Kia EV6, an electrifying entry in the EV segment that launched Kia’s ambitious Plan S strategy for sustainable mobility, made a significant impact since its introduction last year. The EV6 is available in three variants: Wind, GT-Line, and GT2. The Wind and GT-Line models offer both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options, while the GT variant is exclusively all-wheel drive. With compatibility for ultrafast 800v DC fast chargers, the EV6 can achieve a 10 percent to 80 percent state of charge in approximately 18 minutes when using a 350-kW charger.
