2024 Canyon AT4X AEV

Upgrade Your Off-Road Adventures with the Mighty 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X AEV Edition

Less than a year after the remarkable 2023 Canyon hit the market, GMC has once again raised the bar with the introduction of the highly anticipated 2024 Canyon. This model takes off-road capability and connectivity to unprecedented heights by combining the advanced Ultifi software platform with the first-ever Canyon AT4X AEV Edition.

GMC’s global vice president, Duncan Aldred, states, “GMC is giving customers the ability to forge their own path within the premium off-roading space. Following the success of the GMC Sierra LD and HD AT4X AEV Editions, we’re now applying the same formula to the next-generation Canyon.”

Building upon the strong foundation of the AT4X, the 2024 Canyon AT4X AEV Edition offers an even more aggressive stance and enhanced hardware, pushing the boundaries of off-road performance. Here are some of the notable features:

  1. 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires with an additional AEV in-bed vertical spare tire mount.
  2. Updated front fascia and larger fender flares for wider tracks and impressive 12.2-inch ground clearance, the best in its class.
  3. A 4.5-inch factory-installed lift, providing an additional 1.5 inches compared to the Canyon AT4X.
  4. Heavy-duty AEV stamped-steel front and rear bumpers with recovery points and winch capability on the front bumper.
  5. Five ultra-high strength, hot-stamped boron steel skid plates for optimum underbody protection.
  6. Three standard auxiliary control switches for seamless integration of off-road accessories.
  7. Exclusive AEV beadlock-capable Salta wheels and prominent AEV branding across the vehicle.

AEV CEO and founder, Dave Harriton, praises the Canyon AT4X AEV Edition, stating, “This truck checks a lot of boxes for any discerning overland enthusiast looking for luxury, technology, and capability in a midsize platform.”

With its formidable lift and AEV hardware, the 2024 Canyon AT4X AEV Edition boasts impressive off-road angles: a 38.2-degree front approach angle, a 26.9-degree breakover angle, and a 26.0-degree departure angle. The heavy-duty bumpers feature cast rear recovery points, front winch capability, and exceptional durability.

The 2024 Canyon also embraces next-generation technology. The exclusive Baja drive mode, available on the Canyon AT4X and AT4X AEV Edition, now includes a new launch control feature. This intelligent system enhances acceleration on- and off-road by adjusting engine speed and torque based on the driving surface.

Moreover, all 2024 Canyons come equipped with GM’s Ultifi Platform, allowing for over-the-air updates and the addition of new features and software over time.

The 2024 Canyon and the awe-inspiring Canyon AT4X AEV Edition will soon be available for customer orders, promising a remarkable combination of capability, premium features, and advanced technology. GMC continues to redefine the midsize truck segment, providing customers with the ideal vehicle for off-road adventures.
