BMW Concept Speedtop Unveiled at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2025

At the prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2025, held on the picturesque shores of Lake Como, Italy, BMW introduces an exclusive new concept car: the BMW Concept Speedtop. This stunning vehicle, which reimagines the sporty Touring as an elegant shooting brake, will be available for purchase in a strictly limited small series.

A Fusion of Dynamism and Elegance

“A true BMW exudes dynamism and elegance even when it’s standing still,” says Adrian van Hooydonk, Head of BMW Group Design. “The BMW Concept Speedtop is characterized by its unique profile, setting it apart in the automotive industry. It serves as an exclamation mark for our entire lineup, particularly the Touring models.”

The Concept Speedtop blends dynamic proportions with a luxurious interior, inviting weekend getaways for two. Its high-quality materials, meticulous attention to detail, and seamless connection between exterior and interior showcase exceptional craftsmanship.

Distinctive Design and Unique Profile

The BMW Concept Speedtop boasts a striking form language shared with the BMW Skytop. Its pronounced V-shaped front end features a shark-nose design, slim front lights, and an illuminated kidney grille, creating an unmistakable presence. The central spline flows from the bonnet over the roof to the rear spoiler, defining its dynamic Touring profile.

The roof features a captivating color gradient, transitioning from Floating Sunstone Maroon to Floating Sundown Silver, accentuating the car’s athletic silhouette. Broad shoulders and exclusive two-tone, 14-spoke wheels, designed specifically for the Speedtop, further enhance its elegance.

Luxurious Craftsmanship Inside and Out

The interior of the BMW Concept Speedtop reflects meticulous attention to detail. Traditional brogue-style perforations adorn the leather-trimmed surfaces, highlighting manufactory-level craftsmanship. The two-tone color scheme connects the exterior and interior, with the sparkling Floating Sunstone Maroon exterior paint mirrored in the Sundown Maroon interior, complemented by Moonstone White seats.

The dynamic and functional areas of the interior are divided by two-tone leather upholstery. A visually striking roof spline is mirrored as a light beam in the two-tone leather headliner, providing atmospheric, indirect illumination. The leather-covered trunk, refined with brogue-style perforations and illuminated by a light beam, is divided into two sections to accommodate large luggage for multi-day trips.

This exquisite craftsmanship was realized with the expertise of the Manufactory workshop at the BMW Group plant in Dingolfing, in collaboration with the renowned Italian manufacturer Schedoni. Known for crafting exclusive, high-quality leather goods, Schedoni designed two made-to-measure bags for the Concept Speedtop, fitting perfectly behind the seats with leather straps, alongside a matching weekend bag for the trunk.

Unmatched Performance and Limited Production

The BMW Concept Speedtop is powered by the most powerful V8 engine in BMW’s portfolio, delivering exceptional performance to match its breathtaking design. Following the success of the BMW Concept Skytop, which saw a limited production run of 50 units after its debut at last year’s Concorso, BMW has announced a limited production series of 70 units for the Concept Speedtop.

“The enthusiastic response to the BMW Concept Skytop inspired us to offer the Concept Speedtop in a limited run,” says Bernd Körber, Senior Vice President BMW Brand and Product Management. “This extraordinary vehicle is now available for order, offering collectors and enthusiasts another exclusive model.”

Availability

The BMW Concept Speedtop is now open for orders, catering to collectors and connoisseurs seeking an unparalleled blend of elegance, performance, and exclusivity.
