The refreshed 2026 Honda CR-V introduces the first-ever TrailSport Hybrid, blending rugged styling, enhanced capability, and advanced technology to America’s best-selling compact SUV over the past 28 years. Now arriving at Honda dealerships, the CR-V lineup starts at an MSRP of $30,920 (excluding $1,395 destination charge), with the TrailSport Hybrid priced at $38,800.
“The CR-V TrailSport Hybrid brings adventure-ready design and performance to our top-selling model,” said a Honda spokesperson. “With more standard tech and a growing hybrid lineup, the 2026 CR-V continues to lead the compact SUV segment.”
The 2026 CR-V offers four hybrid-electric trims—Sport Hybrid, TrailSport Hybrid, Sport-L Hybrid, and Sport Touring Hybrid—alongside three turbocharged trims: LX, EX, and EX-L. Hybrids, now over 50% of CR-V sales, feature Honda’s award-winning two-motor hybrid system, delivering 204 horsepower, 247 lb.-ft. of torque, and excellent fuel economy. Hybrid sales, led by CR-V, account for nearly 30% of Honda’s total brand sales.
The CR-V TrailSport Hybrid, built exclusively at Honda’s Indiana Auto Plant, combines rugged styling with trail-ready capability. Highlights include:
Every 2026 CR-V comes equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a wireless phone charger. Higher trims, including TrailSport Hybrid, add a 10.2-inch digital instrument display. The Sport Touring Hybrid introduces a customizable Individual drive mode for tailored throttle and steering settings.
The CR-V leads in safety with the standard Honda Sensing suite, Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure, and next-generation airbags. All-wheel-drive models, including TrailSport, enhance off-road traction, while the hybrid powertrain ensures sporty yet efficient performance.
With over 400,000 units sold last year, CR-V remains America’s top-selling CUV since 1997. TrailSport models now represent 20% of Honda Passport, Pilot, and Ridgeline sales combined. The 2026 CR-V is produced at Honda’s East Liberty Plant in Ohio and Indiana Auto Plant, with the TrailSport Hybrid exclusively built in Indiana.
