Toyota Unveils Wave Maker: A Bold New Color for 2026 TRD Pro Models

Toyota introduces Wave Maker, an electrifying blue exclusive to the 2026 TRD Pro lineup, including the 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia. This striking hue, set to arrive at dealerships in fall 2025, joins a storied tradition of vibrant TRD Pro colors, embodying adventure and innovation.

A Color That Inspires

Wave Maker, developed by Toyota’s CALTY Design team, is more than a color—it’s a statement. “After years of earthy tones like Terra and Mudbath, Wave Maker draws inspiration from uncharted territories, from glacial depths to cosmic frontiers,” said Benjamin Jimenez, general manager at CALTY’s Ann Arbor location. “It captures an elemental spirit, evoking the thrill of new adventures.”

A Legacy of Bold Hues

As the eleventh TRD Pro color, Wave Maker follows iconic shades like Inferno (2015), continuing Toyota’s tradition of bold, adventure-driven aesthetics. Available across the TRD Pro lineup, this vivid blue reflects the rugged spirit of the 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia, designed for those who embrace the call of the wild.

Coming Fall 2025

The 2026 TRD Pro models featuring Wave Maker are expected to hit Toyota dealerships in fall 2025, ready to make a splash with their daring design and off-road prowess.
